Ryan Mueller graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He holds a B.F.A in Theater with an emphasis in Acting, a three-year intensive training program. Some college career highlights include working with ENLACE (Engaging Latino Communities for Education), a project mentoring eighth graders in creating original performance art, and performing educational theater for incoming freshmen focusing on navigating college life.

During his four years at UCSB, Ryan created and managed a successful catering staffing business serving the Santa Barbara area. Directly after completing his degree, he performed in the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship competition as well as performed professionally in San Francisco with Asian American Theater Company. Shortly thereafter, he taught third and fifth graders about health through performance with Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theatre Program. The show, “The Best Me,” intended to educate youth about healthy eating and active living, taught through a one-hour show and an hour-long interactive workshop. Through the program, he taught and performed for over 5,000 students.

In addition to acting, Ryan has dabbled in the musical realm for many years and has found success in playing the drums and guitar, involving himself in such bands as Hans Larson’s Glass Attic and The Family Jewels. Ryan has studied Spanish in Guanejuato, Mexico and Santander, Spain and has traveled extensively through Western and Eastern Europe and Central America. After many wonderful and fruitful life experiences he embarked upon creating The Extra Mile Adventure (TEMA). TEMA is based on his passions for people, art, travel, and making a difference for others.
