Liz
Elizabeth Joy Guilliams holds a B.A. in Theater with a Musical Theater specialization from University of California, Los Angeles. She has performed theater, music, and performance art professionally throughout the United States since the age of 15. Since graduating from UCLA, she developed and implemented an outreach program for youth in the Virgin Islands which gives children an arts education and spiritual mentorship and development. Within this program, she taught hip hop dance, theater, voice, Capoiera, and fire dancing. Elizabeth currently teaches at-risk youth, providing arts education for middle school youth in the Los Angeles School District.
Outside of teaching, she performed with a German Expressionist Circus for three years, studied performance art with Rachel Rosenthal, recorded a rap album with famed DefJam producer, recorded on eight albums, and has devoted her life to the service of humanity. She has studied indigenous medicine in Peru and has created a lively practice as a Certified Master Crystologist, massage therapist, and Reiki master. This year, Elizabeth has directed three musicals, been cast in five commercials and can be seen in two independent movies. She is currently writing a new album for release in March of 2009.
