Adam Goldberg holds a degree in Global and International Studies from University of California, Santa Barbara. While in college Adam spent a year in Europe: one semester in Copenhagen, Denmark and the other in southern Spain. In Copenhagen he did research on the Scandinavian Model of Welfare, specifically its health care sector. In Spain he studied Spanish language, history, and literature. Since then, Adam has spent his time guiding in Mexico, traveling throughout Central and South Americas, and living in the Japanese Alps where he taught English and conquered the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, Level 4. Back from his latest stint abroad and reconnecting with his roots in his hometown of Ukiah, California, he is ready to tackle the world once again, this time as a member of the itinerary team and as a guide for The Extra Mile Adventure. He has his sights set on developing a site in Panama that can function as a stationary Extra Mile Adventure, where locals and visitors can work together as a community towards a common goal of sustainability.
